Volunteer Opportunities

Grant Researchers/Writers- We are seeking Volunteers or Interns to research and write grants for funding. Candidates will be expected to have some knowledge and experience with nonprofits but training will also be provided. Strong organizational, time and communication skills required with the the ability to work independently and in teams from home. This is a remote position with a flexible agreed-upon schedule.

Graduate Mentors- Graduate Mentors work 1-on-1 with chat/video call to help graduate students with  questions about US graduate programs, standardized tests, extracurriculars, research, jobs, majors, essays, graduate school life and anything else. You do not need to have any prior mentoring/tutoring experience. While experience is always welcomed, we are mainly looking for highly motivated and professional mentors within Masters/PhD programs to help those beginning their graduate studies.

Leadership Coach- We are seeking Volunteers t provide case management and career coaching to customers. Provide support and assistance in all areas related to gaining and/or retaining employment and career advancement.

 

Virtual Academic Coaches-Latina Voice provides educational supports to ensure success in academia to supporting at risk, underserved and underrepresented students to complete their education. Coaches will provide 1 to 1 mentoring through chat/Video, develop individual plans, and assist with college readiness.

 

Voice Facilitators- We are seeking Volunteers or Interns to help facilitate narratives in amplifying marginalized voices. The Voice Facilitators helps the person in telling their stories and creating a narrative project to instill empowerment and resilience.
